Increase the amount of Protein you Eat
It is no secret that protein builds muscle. There are many benefits to protein such as a positive nitrogen balance and better muscle recovery. When possible you must try and take protein with every meal you consume. This will help towards having a better protein circulation so that your muscles have quick and easy access to it.
Increase the Amount of Fat you Consume
Gaining muscle size and becoming bigger requires fat. You need to consume “good” fats. When the word “fat” is thrown around, people tend to think of bad food like chips and fries. This is not the fat that we are referring to. Good fats include olive oil and borage oil. But do not over do it with the fat intake.
Get Lots of Rest
This is perhaps the biggest thing that most people forget to do but yet the most important one. Over training is not always a good thing. You body needs rest. When you rest, you give your body a chance to repair itself and create more muscle. Believe it or not, you actually do build muscle when you are sleeping. It is recommended that you take at least 7 hours of sleep, even when you have not worked out that day.
With the right motive and the right knowledge, gaining the muscle size you want should not be a complicated task. When you learn how to do it, and you apply that knowledge, you can easily get the muscle size you are looking for. It is not rocket science. Muscle building just requires a little dedication.
