Do It Yourself Colon Cleansing

- Start your day by drinking fresh lemon juice mixed with warm water. This is your first step in flushing out toxins

- Drink a minimum of 6-8 glasses of water every day. Drinking sparkling water or soda does no good to your body, replace this with water instead. Water is a great source of minerals and increases the body’s ability to throw out harmful toxins. Water is also a great laxative!

- Imbibe some components of diets, such as the General Motors Diet or the Cabbage Soup Diet. These diets may be fads but they include a lot of healthy alternatives such as fruits and raw vegetables.

- All you need for a thorough cleanse are loads and loads of fibers. Think apples, cabbage, lettuce, bananas, they are all a great source of fiber.

Try this for a week but make sure you supplement your diet with multi vitamin pills because you may feel a little weak from all the flushing and rinsing your body is going through.

If this plan sounds tough, just buy a colon cleansing kit from the market. Before you go shopping for one, remember that all companies have different kind of products meant to cleanse in different ways. If you’re skeptical at first, choose a colon cleansing package composed of all natural ingredients.

Colon cleansing is not the gateway to a perfect body and flat abs – you need a healthy routine for that. It will aid in weight loss but don’t expect to lose all those extra pounds without doing any hard work.
