Weight Loss – It is Easy! No Need to Starve Yourself

Do slow changes.

By making little changes you will make a big difference. Just because you eat one extra biscuit each week, you will gain an extra 5lbs a year, so by cutting that biscuit out of your weekly diet you will lose 5lbs a year.

So you have to think about weight loss as a permanent change of your life style and diet. Because weight loss aims are usually set over a week period of time, the actual aim of weight loss is to keep this new weight and never go back to what it was before. This means that you basically have to change your lifestyle.

Move More.

If you increase the amount of movement in your life and at the same time keep the same diet, you will definitely lose weight.

It does not mean that you should go to gym and work hard, but it will more beneficial just to have light exercise such as walking for 20 minutes regularly each week. No matter if you hate gyms – even light exercise, such as a short 20 minute walk, will be beneficial if done most days of the week.

If you will move more than you usually do, the more fat you will burn, and therefore you will lose weight.

You can improve your fitness level by doing more sports, joining aerobics classes, different sports clubs etc.

You are more likely to get used to your routine if you find something that you will enjoy doing. Also it should be affordable in terms of costs and the ability to get to your destination.

• Go out on weekends. Better if you will walk to shops and try not to use your car. Have a picnic somewhere in the countryside, so that you have total control over what you eat.

• Each step will use fat, so the more the better, but do not make yourself very tired. Instead of using the lift use stairs and also get out of the bus before your usual bus stop so that you are walking the rest of the way.

• Do some exercises between the TV programme breaks. You might also consider having an exercise bike in the room whilst you’re watching your favourite TV programmes.
